Everyday Taekwondo
Train Every Day
A class once a week is an activity. Training every day is how it becomes part of how a child carries themselves — steadier, more focused, harder to rattle. That is what ET is built for: daily Taekwondo with our Kukkiwon-certified Master Instructors, and a van that brings students straight from school so the week still works. Kindergarten through elementary, at SMA HQ in Woodstock.

THE TRAINING
What Daily Practice Builds
ET is the dojang’s own training program, run daily, with the same Master Instructors and the same standards as every other class we teach. The van is simply how students get here in time to train.
01
Training Every Day
Most students train once or twice a week. ET students train every day they attend, following the same Kukkiwon-certified curriculum as every other class in the dojang. Technique gets the repetition it needs instead of waiting a week between classes.
02
The Same Belt Path
ET students test and grade alongside everyone else at SMA, to the same standards. Daily attendance means more mat time between tests, with our Master Instructors on the floor for every one of those classes.
03
Character Before Technique
Discipline, focus, concentration, leadership, teamwork, and grit are what the training is built around. Belt progress follows from them, not the other way round.
04
Team Fun Day
The training week includes Team Fun Day, a change of pace built around group activities. It is where much of the teamwork and friendship among ET students comes from.
HOW IT WORKS
A Training Day
Step 1
We collect from school
Our van picks students up from their school and brings them to the dojang, which is what makes training every day workable for a family. Pickup is offered from local area schools, and availability depends on the school.
Contact us to confirm pickup availability for your child's school.
Step 2
They train
Students change into uniform and take a full Taekwondo class with our Kukkiwon-certified Master Instructors — the same class, the same curriculum and the same expectations as any other student on the floor that day.
Step 3
You collect them
Parents pick their child up from SMA HQ once class is finished, with the day’s training already done. Our team will go through the daily timing with you when you get in touch.
WHO IT’S FOR
Kindergarten Through Elementary
New ET enrollment is for students in Kindergarten through elementary school. If your child is starting Kindergarten and you are planning ahead, get in touch — we will tell you what is possible for the coming school year.
Experienced students already in ET have a path that continues into middle school, so a child who starts in elementary school does not age out of the program the moment they leave it.
ET sits alongside our age-based classes rather than replacing them. If an daily training with school pickup is not what your family needs, Little Dragons, the General Children’s Program, and Teens & Adults run on their own schedules.
GOOD TO KNOW
Before You Ask
- What do students do once they arrive?
- They train. Students change into uniform and take a full Taekwondo class with our Master Instructors, the same class the rest of the dojang is taking, with Team Fun Day built into the training week.
- Which schools do you pick up from?
- ET picks up from local area schools, but the schools we can reach change with the school year and the schedule. Contact us to confirm pickup availability for your child's school.
- What does ET cost?
- Contact us for tuition and enrollment details — email the team or call 410-720-2010. We will walk you through what is included and what is currently available.
- Is ET available at SMA PRO in Ellicott City?
- ET runs at SMA HQ in Woodstock. Families from Ellicott City and the surrounding area are welcome in the program — the question is whether we can reach your school for pickup, so contact us to confirm.
- My child has never trained before. Is that a problem?
- ET is open to new students, and most of them arrive with no Taekwondo background at all. Contact us and we will talk through where your child would start.
Ask About ET Availability
Tell us your child’s school and grade and we will confirm what pickup looks like, what the current openings are, and what the program costs for your family.
